Ladies Section bids farewell to Jim ....
After many years of 'stirling' service in the pro-shop the lady members of Oswestry Golf Club were saddenend to hear of Jim's departure for pastures new and immediately set about organising a farewell gift which reflected the affection and gratitude they felt.
Co-ordinated by Lady Captain Kath Jones and Ladies' Treasurer Ellie Cumpston within days the magnificent amount of £750 had been raised by bank transfers, cheques, cash .... and lady members filled the clubhouse on Tuesday 29th July when Jim was presented with his card and cheque. We all wish him well in his new life!
